ABOUT THE COMPANY

Eagle Home Medical Corporation was formed in 1994 to serve the Roanoke Valley in Northeastern North Carolina and Southside Virginia. Eagle saw rapid growth in home oxygen and durable home medical equipment (beds and wheelchairs) during the late 90’s and has become a major provider of home medical equipment for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance patients.

In addition to our local “retail” business, Eagle began pursuing the Department of Veterans Affairs for some of their oxygen and DME business. This began when Jeff Peedin purchased Eagle and took over the management. We have been successful in obtaining nine contracts with several VA Medical Centers, two in Temple, Texas, one each in San Antonio, Texas, Richmond, Virginia, Hampton, Virginia, and Montgomery, Alabama. These contracts have greatly increased the number of patients in our care from less than 100 in 1998 to over 1800 today. Eagle has enjoyed a good working relationship with the VA Medical Centers and their Veteran patients.

We strive to provide the very best care possible, and have proven it by meeting the Joint Commission's standards for high quality health care. In April 2006, Eagle Home Medical received full accreditation as Home Medical Equipment Services and Clinical Respiratory Services.
