Kay Hamm, CRT, RCP, LPN Clinical Coordinator
Eagle Home Medical Corp. Clinical Coordinator, Kay Hamm oversees the coordination of quality health care as it relates to equipment management and clinical respiratory services for our Roanoke Rapids, NC home office customers. Kay also assists our Director of Clinical Services as needed when our site facilities require her clinical expertise and judgment.
She has proven to be vital in the coordination and implementation of quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Kay’s clinical experience has benefited our company’s leadership in the development and revision of policies and procedures that ensure our corporate compliance with The Joint Commission.
Currently, Kay is our leading clinical resource in the treatment of sleep apnea and other sleep related breathing disorders. Strongly believing in the importance of patient compliance with oxygen and CPAP/BIPAP use, Kay has built a reputation for providing thorough patient/caregiver education and hands on training. That’s why our patients do better.
Kay rejoined Eagle Home Medical Corp. in 2006. Prior to assuming her role as Clinical Coordinator, she served as a respiratory care practitioner in numerous venues. Her broad clinical experiences during the 27 years she has been in health care include service in the areas of critical care, hospital care, home care, cardiac/respiratory rehabilitation and the sleep laboratory.
Respiratory care is Kay’s passion. Our customers as well as other health care professionals know that she has the knowledge, patience and compassion to help make quality home respiratory health care a reality.
